Junior Web Developer

They  are a leading digital agency who specialise in creating bespoke websites for clients across the UK. 

You will join an existing web team and be part of a growing and ambitious agency 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Html & CSS
• jQuery & Javascript
• PHP
• MYSQL
• Ability to take a psd mockup and develop this to the latest standards
• WordPress theme creation
• SEO and social media knowledge
• Experience using responsive css grid systems
• Experience using git
• Good knowledge of latest web technologies

DESIRABLE SKILLS

• Laravel experience
• Optimising websites for SEO
• More advanced PHP knowledge
• NodeJS, AngularJS, Coffee script, SASS

DAY TO DAY DUTIES

You will be part of a team of 6, with lots of different projects being worked on at any one time so you must be organised, focused and be able to complete tasks on time and budget.

You will be given psd mockups of websites which will need bringing to life so some photoshop skills or knowledge would be useful.

Client interaction will also be part of the job so excellent communication skills will be required including face to face, email and on the phone.

Room for training, progression and pay rises based on performance and skill level.

No agency experience needed however good solid portfolio of work is required.
