Senior Sales & Account Manager | >£30,000 | + Car | OTE £45,000 | + Uncapped Commission
We are looking for a Creative Senior Account Manager who is interested in promoting a range of media, digital and marketing solutions to B2B Customers.
Working on your own autonomy, your job will be to generate advertising and sponsorship revenue across print titles, online and awards sponsorship & to achieve personal and overall brand targets. This is a hands on selling role and you will need to enjoy a competitive business environment in order to realise your potential. Your role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities from the core advertiser base as well as all potential new advertisers from your given territory or client list.
As a Business-to-Business Senior Account Manager for your territory, you will be in regular consultation with an array of new clients, providing advertising and marketing solutions on a market-leading portfolio of products. As a result of consulting with your customers and understanding their needs, you will offer the correct multi-platform campaigns advice such as award sponsorship, online advertising, along with the options of a large publication print portfolio. This amazing portfolio enables you to connect your clients to thousands of customers across the UK.
An integral part of the role is to build a strong business network of contacts by attending local events and becoming the face of local media advertising and a trusted advisor to these businesses. The majority of your time will be spent visiting clients, presenting your portfolio of products and services, learning, listening and providing credible presentations to businesses throughout your area. You will be supported by a manager and have daily communication and a weekly team meeting/one-to-one.
Alongside a professional sales approach, you must be able to communicate at all levels, as well as deliver presentations and host question and answer sessions at board level.
You will have:
- Proven Senior Account Manager Experience/ Senior Sales Experience
- Strong B2B sales background – F2F and Telephone
- Proven track record in selling to professional businesses
- Excellent business acumen and ability to converse well with senior contacts
- Preference to win new business and create own leads
- Working knowledge of print and online solutions
- Ability to create inspiring advertising solutions to maximise ROI
Your job will be to:
- To offer clients a total Group sell e.g. print, online, sponsorships, to best achieve their objectives.
- To prepare proposals and client correspondence.
- To develop and deliver presentations to clients F2F and over the phone
- To contribute to the strategic development of the business.
- To support commercial production.
- To keep abreast of developments in the media and commercial advertising sectors.
- To support other members of the sales team as and when required.
